We took baby girl to the hospital Thursday night for testing and got results back yesterday. Her anemia was dramatically improved!!! Praise GOD! We have made many changes in her diet and the way we give her iron supplements and they obviously worked. Her HBG levels were actually back to normal. We have to take her back this week to follow up on a couple of other irregularities in her bloodwork. Her levels were mildly low on one type of white blood cell. We had never done bloodwork that was as detailed as this last batch and I feel that her WBC has been off her whole life. She has always been very suseptible to infection and has been sick pretty much since she was born. We aren't totally out of the woods yet, but I feel encouraged by her test results. We seem to finally have a dr. that wants to get to the bottom of this....It's obvious that her bone marrow isn't producing like it should be. Please continue to keep all of us in your prayers!
