He may have taken Cliff home but his love and sweet spirit will remain within the hearts of me and his loved ones!

First, thanks for all your posts and emails of kind words and prayers! God is good all the time, as Mike in MI says often!

My 1st cousin, Virginia in Jeff City, is taking care of the funeral arrangements for me as I was having a difficult time in being able to do them myself, so your prayers were answered for me! She had just got back from visiting Branson, MO for 3 days and rec my telephone message! She called me and begin to get things started by calling the James and Gahr Funeral Home in Salem, MO. They agreed to do a one day funeral which is Monday between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm! His casket is cheap but he will be placed into a concrete vault! My cousin is getting two plants for Carolyn and I and a bouquet of fresh flowers for him! She is sooooo good to me and Carolyn! She will be speaking and giving his obituary which will be included in the funeral info being written and printed up by her with his picture as soon as I email her one by attachment! Cliff will be taken to our plot in our family cemetery right after the funeral service and will either have a Christian or a US Flag or both placed on his casket!

And, yet, this cheaper funeral will still cost $5,000.00 but I just couldn't go with creamation and wouldn't be at peace! With the funeral as it is I am at peace and Praise God for His mercy and grace and for all He has done for me and family and will do! God has always met my needs through the years of low finances and He will this time, too!

I have never wanted for food nor money to pay for the necessities of life! I haven't had to beg for bread! Glory Hallelujah!!

I woke up ill today and didn't have to go down to Salem, MO, as I was going to get up early and drive down there to make arrangements myself, but Virginia stepped in and now I don't have to go down until Monday to pay the funeral expense and they are trusting me to pay then and not prepay ahead of time like most of the time I called Julie at my bank and she will have papers ready for me to sign tomorrow, as I'm taking the money out of my IRA! She is a big help to me as well as many others! Now isn't God great???? I hope and pray that sinners will accept Jesus and come to know Him, personally, like Cliff did and I do! Amen!

 God Bless! Ma Betty

Glad the Lord is taking care of things. He loves you and will see you through this rough time.
Praying for you.

God is indeed good all the time and all the time God is good. Keeping you in my prayers Betty.

Good Morning Betty,

In times, like these, we need the assurance that God's Spirit is with us and surely He is with you. Thinking about you this morning, a verse from Philipinnes came to memory and it has your name written all over it. Philippians 2:14-16 (New International Version) "Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life

Thanks Martin for your post and I hope I live up to what you wrote! Really humbled.... for I do say and make a lot of mistakes but I try to serve Jesus the best I can and give Him honor, glory and praise in all things!

Also thanks everyone for your posts of many kind words and encouragements. You all are so good to me and really loving brothers and sisters! I am so blessed to know you by the Forum and telephone and, hopefully, I will be able to see each of you someday...if not on this earth than in our Father's heavenly city of new Jerusalem in the sweet by and by! God Bless! Ma Betty
