Pray for our neighbor Ada--fire victim

This morning I was heading out the back door at about 8:30 when I heard the fire truck coming our way. It pulled into the apartment complex across the alley from our house. When I looked to see what was going on, I saw that a fire was in one of the apartment units. It was smoking pretty good, and soon more trucks arrived. We know all the people that live on that end of the complex. Evidently, Ada, who is on oxygen and smokes(not a smart thing to do) was smoking around her oxygen and it exploded and caught the apartment on fire, seriously burning her. They have air lifted her to a burn unit in Indianapolis. We have not heard how she is doing or how bad it is. As they were putting her in the ambulance I was still in the back yard and could not tell how bad she was burned. Also pray for Mary. She is a 96 year old lady who lives right next door to Ada. She was trapped in her apartment for a time until they got her out. She is doing well, just a little shook up. Joan was over there last night to visit Mary, and Mary said she was concerned that Ada smokes around the oxygen. This morning her concerns became a reality. Sure will be praying for Ada that she will cease smoking with the Lord's help and be safer for her and others when using oxygen, which is a very dangerous thing to do for her and those living close! I shall be praying for Mary also and hope they both will be safe in the loving arms of Jesus! God Bless! Betty
