There is so many that lay down there lives for us while we are at home doing whatever we want. They deserve to be honored. Praying for all of them and there families.

As an ex-military person & proud of my service, there are a multitude of feelings that grip my heart and soul, when I see a list of those lost fighting for someone else's freedom. Many of you may not agree with my thought on the matter but, as a Christian & man of God, I believe with all my heart we should bring all of our troops home and rebuild America. Fighting wars, in foreign countries for a people who have been fighting for thousands of years, is a lost cause. Certainly people around the world deserve freedom but not necessarily America's version of freedom. So many believe we are a democracy when actually we're a republic and the two forms of government are very different. We have no right to tell other countries how to live their live and what to believe. It's time we put America first and foremost and do all we can to better our land that has been ravaged by the billions of dollars spent fighting wars, when we should be sharing the love of God with them instead. If you want to do something for others, it would be far better to send plumbers, carpenters, construction workers, teachers, doctors, and those interested in humanitarian aid rather than killing and destruction.

That said, my thoughts and prayers will be with the families and loved ones who have lost their sons and daughters.

Prayers for the families of those who lost their lives fighting for freed for America and other nations! If we don't stop the evil in other countries there will be no peace on earth any where! I, too, dislike the loss of our military fighting in other countries but I believe we need to protect our people there who are trying to do good work for the decent people in these nations! May God have mercy upon us and all our military and their families! Amen! Ma Betty

Amen, Mike. We take our freedom for granted for the most part. These men and women don't have to be in the military, putting their lives on the line every day so we can be free from the evils of some other parts of the world, they choose too. Not like the draft, when you went to war, most of the time because you had to, not because you loved your country and wanted to.

"But: Nothing in the media about> these guys because no one seems to care"

i would rather they did that than use there deaths as a means to "bring them home"!!!!!!!!!
