Prayer Needed.......Cliff is in the hospital.......

Please pray for him, as he wasn't in very good shape last night and I haven't been able to get any info today! Got cut-off before I could talk to him and it is difficult for him to answer the room phone and talk with his full oxygen mask and hooked up to the monitor! He was on a drip bag and probably still is! They have poked, pinched, stuck and you name it! They did a Cat Scan on his head and also his chest! They may have found sometning wrong with his blood!

I heard a thump and went to see what happened and Cliff was on the floor and had hit the bedroom door with his nose, they used super-glue and two clear bandaid strips for the cut! He has a bruise on the forehead and a black eye! He bled through his nose all over his 2-shirts and the carpeting! I couldn't lift him, but did manage to help him sit up! The medics came and took over and took him to the hosp per Cliff's agreement!

I hope with all the tests and etc. that they will find out what is wrong with him for sure! They sure take a long time and we were in the emergency room for over 4-1/2 hours before they took him to his room around midnight or a little after! Sure do have to have patience with both the medics, drs and nurses, as they do things in their own time, and in their own way per the hosp rules! He had a really bad headache and they finally gave him some med for it....but it came back in full force later! I was praying and asking God to help him and have mercy on him!

Princess his cat is missing him and I gave her fresh water and food last night and this morning! She is a one person cat, but is getting more used to me now!

Thank you everyone and thank you Steve for praying for me too, as I sure am tired! I visited with him this afternoon but he got so tired that I told him I would let him sleep! He changed clothes and I brought the dirty ones home to wash! Took some clean ones for him! He has had some more blood drawn and has two black eyes now...still having headaches and his knuckles hurt on his left hand! He probably pinched a nerve when he fell and cut off the circulation to his left hand! The nurse brought him a small heating pad to lay on his knuckles, but it wasn't hot enough and he was still hurting badly!

He doesn't look well at all with his eyes swollen and I can tell he really feels rough! I have been praying for him and also laid hands on where he hurt last night and today and others are praying also! He is off the drip bag and isn't walking as yet! Still in hospital but don't know for how long! Really can't fnd out much about him or what's going on! I guess he will have to wait until his regular dr sees him during hospital visits and then maybe we'll know more!

I fixed Cliff's glasses by unloosing the screw and putting the lens back in and retightening the screw...was difficult to do with arthritis but I gotter done! He couldn't even fill out his meals menus without his glasses, so I did that for him this afternoon!
