My cousin, Virginia's husband, John, broke a tooth and it became infected, so he is taking anti-biotics to be able to get it pulled Monday! Please pray that all goes okay and he gets the tooth pulled without much pain nor trouble! Virginia was lucky and blessed to get him in with a dentist who used to pull her teeth, because the other dentist recommended a surgeon and when she called, they could only get him an appointment for July 19th....well that is way too long to suffer with a broken tooth and infection! God sure blesses us in many different ways! :angel: Ma Betty (P.S. Haven't been too bad all night but feel better than when I do get some sleep....it is in the 80's today and cooler so planning to go out and work in my flower beds, as they sure need cleaning out of leaves and old stalks!) Hope I make it for at least a little while....supposed to be in the 90's again next week and I can't work in that hot weather, especially if it is humid to go with the higher temps!

Thanks Martin, I can do a little at a time....but I think I must have been half-asleep when I typed I haven't been too bad, as I meant to say I have not been to bed all night! Wow, oh, Wow...Ma is sure losing it....I need to finish raking the leaves from around the Mums with the small rake and then clean up a BIG Mess......I fell pulling some unwanted flowers (I call them weeds and I regret the day I ever bought them...they go to seed and come up everywhere and thick) but anyway as I stepped into the flower bed, I stubbed my shoe on one of the stones around the edge and I tried catching myself but landed on the concrete stoop and bruised my fingers on my right hand and hit my ribs and side on the edge of the concrete and landed on by bottom....couldn't get up so got myself out of the flower bed than scooted to my garage and pulled myself up by the back end of my 1977 Mercury...holding on to the bumper I finally made it up but that concrete floor was sure hard on my knees! :cry: Ma is falling to pieces and it made me so nervous and weak that I kept trying to stumble and fall, so had to be really careful! Will get out later this afternoon and try to finish....it is 73 degrees and a very nice cool wind blowing so that keeps me cooled off...because I still perspire when I do anything strenuous at all! Praise the Lord I didn't break any bones but just bruised, scraped and sore...will be sorer tomorrow, as I am always worse the next two days after I hurt myself! Thanks Boo!!! And Martin, the MESS will have to stay until tomorrow or when I can get it cleaned up as I am way too tired to do anything more today! Hopefully, tomorrow, I will have had more rest by being able to sleep tonight! Maybe those little Ferries will come and clean it up for me!!! :lol: :angel: Ma Bety
 
We are praying, Ma. What kind of things do you need done in your yard and around your house (if you don't mind me asking)?
 
I have flower beds to clean the leaves out of and cut out the old stalks from my MUMS.... Once upon a time, I had a pretty yard when I could afford the flowers and was able to work more than I can now! I fell today into the flowerbed between the stones and my concrete front porch! I am getting really sore and stiff and down in my back! I need to trim my shrubs and they haven't been for two to three years now, so growing taller and fuller, also the Dogwood needs dead wooded, but I will get to all of it when Ican, providing I don't fall anymore and the weather stays cooler, as the day was really nice in the 70's with low humidity and plenty of cooling wind to keep me from perspiring so much! Just tire out too easily, so takes much longer for me to get to it and to get it done! I used to take care of a small garden by myself, but couldn't do that anymore...my energy and strength are gone...can't even get out of the bathtub if I got in, so take showers instead but I sure would like to take a good hot soaking bath which I do miss very much! Nothing stays the same and our bodies make lots of changes the older we get in this mortal life! Glenn mowed around the pile of leaves and dead stalks this evening, but was hoping he would mow tomorrow after I, hopefully, got the mess cleaned up! :shrug: :sad: May God Bless you with plenty of rain and lots of produce from your garden!
