Prayer request....for me

Wednesday I will be going under the knife for hernia surgery. Being on blood thinners makes it touchy and expect lots of pain from the operation as the surgeon already said there will be a lot of it. :-(

Need prayers for safety...due to the blood thinners/blood clot potential, quick healing as we have no income until I am back on my feet and a clear bill of health from the doctor for both hernia and my shoulder impingement problem. Sherry's seasonal job ends this week and Casey even had to take a pay cut along with all her managers and co-workers otherwise the owners were going to close the doors. Times are getting tougher indeed...but our God meets our needs.

Sherry has her vision back now after the cataract surgery so she is driving again,,,which is good since I cannot drive after the hernia surgery and my eye sight is getting worse (both glaucoma and cataract in my right eye and glaucoma in the left eye as well). God has things all worked out. Thank you Father.

Not sure of what the recovery time is for this hernia surgery but sure hope for a quick healing both because of the expected pain and the need to get back on my feet as soon as possible. Thanks for the prayers

Pete - Sure will pray for quick healing. I have had 3 hernia ops over the years. While it wasn't a big deal under the knife it was a big deal taking it easy for a few weeks or more. I cannot impress upon you how important it will be to be still and let things heal.

But your doctor probably has told you the same. Stay still, compute and let the Lord heal you, Steve in so az

Hello Pete, To be sure, my situation with hernia surgery was different than your but I truly understand what you'll be going through. The first time the doctors operated on just one side but the second time they called for double hernia surgery. My healing time was approximately two months. Only God knows what your healing time will be but I do know He will heal 'In His Time' for your life. Continue to trust and rely on Him and you will do fine. You'll be in my prayers for healing as well as for your financial situation. God bless you brother.

Amen to Martin's prayer and may our Father in Heaven watch over and guide the surgeon's hands to remove the hernia and renew your shoulder, Pete, and may Jesus in His precious and holy name heal you quickly and make you whole physically and build your faith high to not faint and have wisdom in your recovery! There are many ways God provides financially, so do not worry but put you and Sherry completely in God's care, for He careth for His own! Hi Peter; I'm sorry to hear about your surgery and the financial mess it is causing you. I know "EXCATLY" what your dealing with. I'm in "severe" pain as well. My sisters ar both out of work and I'm the only income here as well. Te bills are piling up big time and I have a kid to feed as well. So yes I do know. My heart is with you. I hope there are no complications either. It will take 1 - 2 years for me to heal and 6 - 8 months before I can even think about working. I hope you mend quick. I will pray for you every day. Please let me know ok. Even via PM ifyou wish alright. I know this is embarassing for yuo to notbe there for the family but you "NEED" to think about yoursef first now.
