steve needs our prayers because of a stomach problem he picked up in south la.
he went fishing offshore and got seasick,,ended up passing out on the boat &
also again on shore.. visited the emergency room and the doctor said it was a stomach
virus..steve stayed an extra day at his son's to get things cleared up before
visiting me & chris..on his way to my house he ate a hamburger and felt only a small
twinge in his stomach..after a fine supper at my house steve thought he was ok..
steve woke me up at 0345 with stomach pains and was going to a emergency room to get
checked out..he is now on a clear liquid diet and on his way home..he is staying in monroe la.
tonight and will go to dallas tex. tomorrow. he said it would take them 4 days to get
home.they won't drive at night..steve needs our prayers to get thrue this sickness..
the doctor in monroe said the same thing as the doctor in morgan city,,if it's a 24hr bug it's sure hanging on a long time..we were having such a great time and i hate for it to
end like this..nancy & steve will appreciate your prayers..may god bless everyone..henry & chris
 
I think I had the same thing but this one lasted almost a week. It's the kind of virus that antibiotics won't help. He's going to have to ride it through. I had the chills 6 times abd throwing up before this thing subsided, doctors thought it was my gall blatter but that was ruled out. I have a little aftermath of it but it seems to be going away. If he's running a fever of 101 or 102 it's the virus.

Sure sorry the vacation had to take a nasty twist. Praying for you to get well very soon Steve. I know this puts pressure on Nancy too so adding prayers for her as well.

 
Well I am over the illness finally. We drove to west Fort Worth, Tx and are here now for the night. We Will go to stay in Odeassa, Tx tomorrow.
We sure did enjoy the time at Henry & Chris' - great food, and that's not what did me in :)
Thanks for all your prayers - they did work on me ! I'll see many of you in a few weeks, Steve in so az

I did have a fever when in the worst times but not in the better times. Dr thinks the bug tore up my stomach lining some to cause the pains. Steve
