Prayer request.....

I asked a couple weeks back for prayers for a man who is about 30 years old who was going to have heart surgery for a heart defect. Here is an update but also a serious request for his son........

all went well with hubby..they had to do 2 additional procedures to correct and fix his tricuspid valve and also vsd (closed up another opening between valves that should have closed at birth. so 4 procedures and he was opened up for about 6.5 hrs. he's off the ventilator, still assisted w/ oxygen. got him up to take a few steps today and sit back down because the pain level was too high. he's anxious to get home.

so on the other hand...please keep us all in your prayers, there was an accident thursday mid morning with alex. ( 4 yrs old ) he was with his uncle steve at gram and gramps boynton's and was playing on the couch in their living room and apparently slipped and fell by the window that was open, the screen popped out and he went down about 10 ft to a cement pad. he was rushed by ems to bronson and is in picu now with head trauma.he's had multiple ct's and had to have a craniotomy earlier today. his body is responding well to meds and the surgery, pressure is down but anticipating a bit of normal swelling. i am sure he'll be in for at least a week if not a bit longer. so that is where i am at with life and all...thank you for your concerns about derek, he is well on his way to a great recovery!
