Prayer update on 4 year old Braeden.......

Dear friends,
Dawn sent another update on Braeden. Please pray for him, his pain and his parents breaking hearts.

Dawn wrote, "We've had a rough few days at our house...His left hip was hurting him quite a bit. Saturday was a bit better until late afternoon, when he began complaining of pain in his right side and the right side of his back...increased his pain medication yet again, but it was still a rough night... made still more changes in pain meds, as well as increased one of his other meds. We are not sure if this new pain is a kidney problem beginning, or tumor spread. Dr. Axtell said today he thought it might be due to increased pressure from the tumor(s). Whatever the cause, with this increased pain control issue and some of the other signs we have seen, it is very clear that we are very short on time. We don't plan on going back to the hospital unless we are unable to keep him comfortable at home. This has been and continues to be a very long and difficult road for us to walk. We are thankful that we don't walk it alone, that so many are with us, praying and encouraging and laughing and crying with us. Today while looking for "something" to encourage me, this verse found me: 2 Timothy 1:12...Paul was in prison, suffering, yet he wrote to Timothy, "I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day." (NKJV) And we too know whom we have believed. Braeden is His, he was from the beginning and we trust Him with our sweet boy and commit Braeden to Him, knowing that we will be together again."

Still praying for this young lad and his parents and other loved ones! Praise God that they know Jesus as their personal Savior and have given their son to Him when his time on earth is over! Some go earlier; some of us later, but we all will leave this world at some time or another! My heart grieves in their sadness of seeing their son go through this trial of illness with so much pain! We love our children and never want to see them hurting or let them go...but knowing he is in God's hands makes it easier to know that they will be with him again some-glad-day! God Bless!
