A good friend and fellow digger asks for prayers for his wife. He took her to the doctor because of a detached retina. Surgery soon! Please pray that all goes well.

...back in the 60's I got hit in the right eye by a ball on the school playground and eventually lost sight in that eye due to a detached retina. They didn't have the technology in those days to repair it but now, I think, it can be repaired with laser surgery.

There is no retina separation. But the Virtreous fluid has separated from the retina. For now, we will watch & wait. She has to go through this in a month. It could lead to retina separation.
