Prayers for a safe trip down state to the funeral

we're leaving for down state (Detroit area - hate Detroit) for the funeral tomorrow. Will be going to Sherry's step-Mom's (who hates God or mention of Him) and staying with her tonight, going to the funeral tomorrow then back home tomorrow afternoon/evening.

Please pray for a safe trip for us..no mechanical problems or anything...Its about 3 hours one way just to get down there. Will be leaving here about 11:30 am today so appreciate your prayers and that the angels will be watching over us. Sherry will need extra prayers and Casey too since Nana was blood relatives to them. Thanks everyone.

Prayers:
Lord asking for safe passage, round trip for Pete and Family! Father be with them in this time of mourning, and help them to love their other family members as you do!
Should anything come up Lord give them opportunity to invite family members to come to you. Open doors for them Lord and show them your favor. Make them strong in your word that others might be lifted up. And Lord after their special time of mourning is fulfilled... filled them with the great memories of the past that their loved one has supplied them with. Give to them the remembrances of joy, abundant joy that they can share good thoughts with the close family!And also Lord, please just reach down and give them a big hug Lord, big enough that they know you are with them.
