This morning due to a horrible accident...a trip and fall...little Leelan was on his way to his crib and awoke in pain and screaming out of the dead sleep he was in for a mere 10 minutes. She, being blind in one eye due to a cataract that needed to be fixed a LONG time ago, tripped on a box on the floor in Leelan's bedroom. The trip caused Sherry to fall and crash into Leelan's crib, smashing the side of the crib while Leelan fell out of her hands and was airborne a short distance before falling to the floor. I was in the kitchen at the time and heard the crash, baby scream and Sherry calling out to me....which I was already half way there at that point.
I picked up Leelan who was gathering breath for another scream and held him. He soon quieted down and looked and felt pretty normal except for a bum[ on the base of his head/neck.
Long story shorted....Sherry is beside herself in beating herself up....Leelan has been to an Urgent Care facility and is presently at the hospital in Grayling, MI. Just got a text message that Leelan has a mild head injury. He had, earlier, got a chance to finally get a nap. Medical people didn't want Leelan to sleep for fear of him going into a coma or something. He finally got to go to sleep and was awakened abruptly within 10 minutes so a doctor could see him. He shook. They took it as a convulsion...I take it as post traumatic stress syndrome. Being awakened twice in the same day out of a dead sleep...I'd shake too. To add to PTSD is the refusal of Leelan to sit on Grandma's lap...he sat there and immediately started crying - not feeling safe and secure with Grandma.
So please pray for Leelan, Sherry, Casey that all things will be ok for them all. Sherry said if anything bad happened to Leelan she could not stand to live and deserved to die and burn in Hell for it. I tried to tell her NO ONE deserves to burn in Hell for an accident and that is what it was and stop 'feeling' because Satan is using all her emotions to make her suffer and want to die. I understand her feelings but I also know this day has been one attack after another by evil. I usually don't get headaches but before all this happened I had a horrible headache and all the sounds just made things worse. Physically I am thinking of a stress headache....tomorrow I get knee surgery...minor surgery to many but with my past of blood clots that have nearly killed me before I would not want tomorrow to be my last day on earth.
Anyway, we need prayers.
Note to Mike from MI. - If anything happens during/after surgery tomorrow, 2 boxes are ready for you.
