...my sister and her husband recently returned from Oregon,where her oldest son lives.While they were out there,they spent a LOT of time in casinos,gambling.My sister is the kind that has NEVER stood up for herself,-Consequently,her sons and HUSBAND,have used it against her,in the form of browbeating,and lying to her,to get her to believe they care for her,when all they are after,is whats good for them,.......(I could tell y'all some HORRIBLE financial stories
)......ANYWAY,they came back home,and her husband has got it in his craw,going to the casinos is the answer to EVERYTHING:just because his son,and his wife,have"won THOUSANDS",and they have....This morning,he told me"Well,we just got paid(Retirement),and I want to go,gambling this weekend"......I told him DONT you realize,thats a good way to lose your very soul??AGAIN,he brought up his son,and what he won(His son has a self-admitted gambling problem,yet ALL of them-my sister included-will trot right off to the casino,nary a word in concern given)....NOW,I'm afraid,my sister's husband,is going to bug her about it,until she gives in -As she ALWAYS has-and takes him,just to shut him up.This whole family-MY SISTER included-5 of them-have not enough combined common sense in financial ways,to fill a thimble.MY sister just sits there,and takes whatever her "loving"family dish out to her....They have almost got her convinced,that bankruptcy is the only solution,to her financial problems(They got her to take HUGE loans out,in HER name,of course,so if bankpuptcy is filed,all the rest of them will get away scot-free financially;while SHE is made the scape goat).... It is almost unbelievable how bad their situation is,something out of a Hollywood movie script,but in this case,REAL LIFE....PLEASE,PRAYERS for my sister,Jane;and her whole family.....PS:I took my sister and her husband to Frankenmuth here in Michigan,for their anniversary,a couple weeks ago.When we were gettin ready to leave;he started making noises,about "Mt.Pleasant isn't very far away,from here"(where the casino is),and he got a little miffed at me,when I said"NO,GOING TO THE CASINO,IS NOT IN THE PLANS!!"....PRAYERS,PLEASE,for Jane,and her "family"....
