Prayers for my son, David, please!!!

Please pray for him to draw closer to Jesus and then He will draw nearer to him! He has the opportunity he hopes for one of two jobs that might be opening up for him! He is 50 and has driven deliveries of pizzas for years and knows the city and how to drive! I have been praying for him a better job and this is how God works in hopefully answering prayer!

The tree company that works for AmerenUE were trimming trees in his neighborhood (actually they butcher the trees) and David was talking to him and I guess had been several times! He said all of a sudden the thought came into his mind to ask if this man knew of any companies that might be hiring! Well, the guy is working with his boss and with the Electric Company trying to get him one of the jobs as a hauler! One would be hauling cut limbs, I guess, and the other is hauling cables of wire and etc. to the job sites!

I told him he needed to pray and he said he knows there is a God, but I said, You need to know Jesus, but he really didn't say much, as he and his family don't go to church and haven't for years! He said he could hope but I said, You need to accept Jesus and then be praying but his praying to God will help him along with all our prayers!

Thank you! And when I hear anything new I will let you know! This maybe a way for David to draw near to Jesus and begin believing in Him as his Savior and Lord! Amen! God Bless! Betty

Thank you so much for your prayers for David! I pray that God will find favor with him and that it is in His will for him to get one of the jobs, as he needs some encouragement and a better job to supply his and his family's needs. Thank you, Steve, and I have planted many but I have to be careful and not preach to those who don't want to be preached to, because they aren't ready to receive the whole truth of Jesus, as yet! I gradually led Tami along until she knows Jesus, as her Savior, now....but she still needs to grow a lot more which comes with time and willingness to read God's Word and/or go to a Church congregations where the truth is preached and taught!
