nce???".......i invited my sisters to my wedding next July;and the 2 of them I have issues with,sent me a ton of excuses as to why they wouldn't be able to make it,EIGHT MONTHS IN ADVANCE(financial,physical).....Then they started in on me,about different "why dont you do this???"questions,that had NOT A THING TO DO,with my upcoming wedding,next July.These 2 women are of the mind-set"IF ITS NOT OUR WAY,ITS THE HIGHWAY"type of thing,and I already had a BIG go-around with them earlier this year,about something too stupidly minor to mention here.Anyway;I told Marcia last time,"there will come a time I am going to speak the TRUTH to them,and when I do,it will hit the fan".......TODAY,the TRUTH was spoken.............I told them- NICELY-I was tired of having you 2 change things I say and do,so it looks like I have something to be sorry for,and it is time I told you both the truth.like it or NOT,I will NOT put up with it,any more.....NO screaming,no bad words,no throwing fits...........Doesn't matter,though:They read the message I sent them,I WILL BE HISTORY,TO THEM,AS A BROTHER...........This whole ridiculous thing started when I sent them an e-mail,inviting them to Montague for 2 night in a nice motel,and I would pay for it....They AUTOMATICALLY started in on me,about 'WHY WONT YOU PAY FOR JANE'S(my 3rd sister) ROOM,AFTER SHE TOOK YOU IN,AND YOU WILL PAY FOR OURS???"....NEWS FLASH:Jane's room WAS going to be paid for BY ME,IF they couldn't afford it,I committed the grave sin,of omitting this bit of news,from their messages.......After that,they listed all the financial,and physical reasons,why they wont be there....I told them"I UNDERSTAND,the physical and financial concerns,WE ALL HAVE THEM-but:a flat NO,more than 8 MONTHS IN ADVANCE???"...I then closed with "This hurts..........,Merry Christmas"........................prayers,please.....A storm is coming my way,and I have a strong feeling,I will be a casualty from it,because I told the truth...........Steve.

Steve, My advice is that of our other friends here. Give it to God, in prayer, invite your family and, if they don't show up, they're the ones missing out. Not you! For what it's worth my friend, I had to do the same thing a year ago and I've felt good ever since. Some of them accepted my offer and some didn't. The ones that didn't won't be a part of my future. Its as simple as that. They made their choice and they will have to live with it. It's in God's hands.
