hard to move, turn over or to take a deep breath....It seems to be getting worse instead of better, but my bruises have faded and my upper ribs are now bothering me and very sore! I don't think I broke any when I fell against my concrete porch but must have bruised them more than I first thought! Was difficult travelling and had to move slowly and easily in different positions but made it down and back okay with Susan driving (see other post) ! If they don't heal in another week or two, I will have to go to the ER but I know there isn't really anything that can be done for broken ribs or even bruised ones...just grin and bear it, until they heal! With the hot weather, even when I stay indoors, I seem to feel badly and have headaches when I wake up! The ribs make me feel ill, but I am still lving, although I am not kicking very high....as if I did I would fall again...  so everything is okay, for I have the Lord Jesus Christ, and there is no one else or god to be with than Him! Amen! Ma Betty

Just take it easy - lots of rest is what the injury needs. Read, watch tv, things that keep you still. Sure will pray for you, Steve & Nancy

Prayers on the way Ma!! It wouldn't hurt to get an x-ray because you don't want to chance puncturing a lung!

Praying for you Ma.... Believe me I know about Broken Ribs, when I had my last Cat Scan, the DR.SAID THAT IT SHOWED THAT AT SOME TIME OR ANOTHER I HAVE HAD EVERY RIB IN MY BODY BROKEN. /b]

Thanks everyone for your prayers and God is good, for my rib area is not as sore today so, hopefully, I am on my way to healing! I still don't think I broke anything, just pulled a muscle near my arm pit and bruised from hitting the concrete while coming down on my right hand and arm, which helped block my fall or I would have fell face first onto the concrete...which would have really been Baaaaaaaddd!! As far as taking it easier and slower, if I got that way any more than I aleady am, someone would put me in the morgue, as I haven't done much, except what I have to, since I fell! I praise God for not hurting myself more than I did, as it could have been a lot worse! But God is good and is good all the time, like me son, Mike, says! Amen! Ma Betty
