My great-uncle's wife, Elsie, passed away at 97 years young...now that is a long time to live...but my great-uncle Arthur passed away many years ago! Their son, Gene, needs prayer for the death of his mother and also for his wife, Lois! She will be in the hospital during the funeral with lung cancer and having surgery! He has double grief at this time for God's comforting strength to help him! I won't be going to the funeral....I am too tired today to do anything...so catching up on my email and posting on this forum! My cousin in Jeff City, MO, had called me and asked for prayer for all of them! She is going down with two other cousins and needs prayers for her health and safe traveling to Salem, MO, for the funeral! Also, she informed me that she had called another cousin, who lives in Kansas, about Elsie's death and was told that Dean's wife, Bonnie, needs prayer for hip surgery! Sure a lot of illnesses, diseases and surgeries going on these days! They are all about my age, soooo when a person's body gets older, it seems we start falling apart! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, that I am still able to go and have my Lord and Savior with me! I think most are saved but don't know for sure only God does!
Thank you for your prayers and please still keep me in prayer according to my unspoken prayer request! Will try to let you know later what is going on, because I'm not sure as yet what is going on! My grandson, Joey, and his wife, Jessica, need to be made godly wise when it comes to handling their finances! Young people have it rough now-a-days with rent being way too high from greedy landlords and being of low pay rates it is difficult for them to own anything on their own! But of course they want everything now, and don't want to wait....that's todays children because of receiving too much most of their lives! I'm thankful that we (my ex and I) only had to pay $37,000.00 for the house I live in now in 1974...we started out in one at $9000.00 and then another at $16,000.00 compared to what houses cost today! We did improvements, so each were worth a little more when sold....my house right now is worth $182,000 when appraised for my new loan in 2008! I don't think I could get that much though for I need to update some more and there are many, many houses for sale in the South County area! Oh my, what a shame that Bill Clinton and Barney Frank had the loan companies to loan money to those who couldn't afford it and now we see the down-spiral result and BO hasn't made it any better!
May God have mercy and help us to get rid of him and all his ungodly and unwise cohorts! Amen!
