Praying for Gold _

There are some detectorists whilst seeking gold , Pray for the signal.

Now

This may be OK to some but I think its not on !

What do you think ?

I sometimes pray that I would have a good safe hunt and if He see's fit that I find some keepers that would be good, but if I don't that is still good! I also try to remember to thank him for my finds, and that i am able to enjoy my hobby.

Good post ! I pray sometimes that I might have a successfgul day digging and sure would like some gold or silver. But I also say that whatever you send me is perfect, steve in so az

everything I do get I thank God for. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to remind myself and God that the Words says "Seek and ye shall find..", "Ask and it shall be given.." and then expect to find. I always expect to find 'something' - never gotten 'skunked' and whatever I find I am content with because I know this is what God has given me to find.

... if I find something, it's just icing on the cake. My gold is having the luxury of time to be able to get outside, enjoy God's creation and relax (and having the good health to be able to do it).
