Mike from Chicago got here 9 am and we went up to Pro stock Detectors to visit, check out the shop and pick up some hunt prizes.
We then had lunch and headed back toward my home because I had an important to attend! Mike the old guy needed a nap so he did that and I went with my wife to Our daughters kindergarten graduation! (pics later)! We then went back woke mike up and the two of us went diggin! We had 40 MPH winds at the first site, where we found mostly clad. Then Terry (Goes forever) called me to say I am here! I told him where to meet us and then we went over to another site. terry had his son with him. We only got about an hour in before a monsoon with lightening chased us off! The good thing is one of us found a nice 14K RGP gold ring, and a 1945 silver war nickel! Sorry can't say who! :) My camera battery died right before this post so I will post pics tomorrow. Saturday is the main hunt and we will be joined by several others to dig, and have some good fellowship! Wish you all could be here! I will post details and pics later! :)

Well, Mike, you chased that Monsoon our way! It is lightning, thundering and pouring down rain right now! Thanks, me son!

Glad Mike from Chicago and Goes4ever arrived safely and did some ;detecting: before the storm hit but we are getting it and I know you sent it!

God Bless!

Hope you guys have a great time! Can't wait to see pics.

I did go to my first club hunt this morning at the beach. Got a bunch of wheaties, 7 rosies, 2 buffs (#'d for a prize), a plastic Easter egg with foreign coins in it (for raffle tickets). Won another digger, a ditty bag, a nice beach ditty bag, a 2008 coin book and I won an ounce silver round in the raffle (american silver eagle). The silver round was the prize just before the grand prize, a new Prism II :) The rain held off for most of the hunt so, all in all, a great morning. :) Nice bunch of people too.

HH,

Joe

Nice fines and prizes, Joe, and congrats on your first club hunt! I always enjoyed the club hunts, we used to have one in the Spring and one in the Fall! All or most of the members seemed to have a nice time! Good Luck & God Bless! May you do really well on your next hunt!

For 5 years now we have hosted the Christian MD forum hunt. The hunt is for forum members (like you) and their families. We do it each summer on a Saturday, but some come a day early and stay a day late. We go diggin a bunch, and have a blast, get door prizes, and have awesome fellowship! Hope you can make it next year. :)

it was heading east in a big hurry! :)

it came down to spending $ toward the club hunt or $$$$$$$$ to go to Michigan :) On top of that, I couldn't get out of work last week. This week however, is a different story. :) Glad everyone had a nice time!

Okay, me son, but it still came our way so must have circled and headed here! It rained or I'll say it literally poured most of the night and early morn and now we are getting some more.....started just before the sun went down! One thing for sure is: God is blessing us with lots of WATER this Spring! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for the rain and for keeping us safe in the storms!

God Bless & Happy Gold Hunting to you and your daughter in finding those elusive golden nuggets! Throw a few Ma's way but don't hit me in the eye with them! Go for the GOLD!! :jump:

God Bless!
