Up at 4 and out the door! Spent the whole time in the water, 4 hrs straight, 47 degree air temp and a hard N wind. I got sheltered up in an inland swimming hole and worked it for Old Glory. 118 coins for 9.12 plus a little silver ring. Running pro zero at 40, stock coil on the 'Pro. My scoop has large holes, so I am getting to hate single split shots. Got several pocket spills.

Thanks fellas, yeah I tumbled all that clad with the ring in there too, just to get it halfway cleaned up enough to not choke the Coinstar! I'm also developing a hatred for .22 shells...they go right through the scoop too. I was up and out again early this am..watching the webcams and windfinder looking for an opening...the N wind dropped and turned out of the S which knocked down the surf enough for me to get in Lake Mich...got 3 nickels and a Q and a few P's, a big men's mood ring, and pulltabs and whatnot. Bummer to be worn out by 10am....One thing you guys already know, The 'Pro does not miss a deep nickel, and that gives a guy confidence that if theres gold here, you will find it.
