went hunting yesterday for about 4hrs with my my friend bummer ,to an old site he has hunted quite a bit.i struck fwelirst with a nice 1891s seated dime, than i hit an old copper pretty much a slug now all worn and corroded but a old copper nonoe the less.after i hit my dime i see him digging something up i ask what did you get he says i got a half dime.im about 30 ft away so i shut off my machine and walk over to see the half dime.well he shows me a clad dime cut in half by a mower.half a dime not a half dime i say and hes laughing the hole time.not to be out done at the end of the day old bummer and his reliable xs hit 2 indians he gets a hit next to a tree and after 5 mins pulls out a worn 1797 half cent checks the hole and smiles reaches back in and pulls out a 1810 large cent colonial pocket spill i say shaking my head .him and that xs are deadly together i call it the hoover cause he sucks everything out the ground.
