Price of a used 3500 ??

I would greatly appreciate you minelab expert opinion. I have a claim and the fellow wants to trade a VERY lightly(50 hours is the presentation) used 3500 with only charger,car charger,headphones and large minelab coil. I paid $3500 + $500 bond for the claim. It's Too far from home and I'm trying to get expert opinion on machines worth and is the 4000 really a GREAT difference. No forum does minelab the way you folks do--so opinions please-thanx much-Tons a au 2 u 2-John

You can buy a used one, with different acessories, from $2000.00 up to about $2900.00 depending. Hard call to make. Grubstake

I would say that package sounds like about $2400 if it has the extended warranty.
