Printing the Free E-Book

I just spent 50.00 for all new ink cartridges for my HP printer and started to print the free E-Book not even half way through the printer stopped and said two of the ink cartridges were empty,I just love the free E-book but not so much the HP printer.

Probably cheaper to put it on a disk and take it to someplace like Kinko's.
Maybe e-mail it to an account that you can access on your phone, then go to a copy center and ask for an address to forward it to for printing.

Another reasonably cheap option is to refill your own ink cartridges. I do it, but I can squeeze a nickel 'til the buffalo $hits too.

I did the same thing at a cost of 30$ but it was worth it! I had been reading all I could find on the 707 and this book was the clincher on a purchase of one. It fits in with my other detectors. I put my copy of the book in a 3ring binder and make notes in the book as needed. My 705 and Fisher F75SE are now my 2 goto units and my other detectors do not get much use.

Ink cartridges are the biggest RIP-OFF known to mankind. When you can buy a new printer with the cartridges coming with it, cheaper than you can buy just the cartridges, Something ain't right.

when I downloaded mine I just save it to documents on my Laptop

Oh do not get me started on those pieces of sh$t ink cartridges, I got a HP and I think it drinks that ink because it did not print it on paper, lol

I sent mine to work:beers: and had it printed lazier printer. What I plan to do is make some cue-cards to help remember some of the good tips, laminate them cut apart about 2"x 6" long, punch a hole in the ends and put on one of those paper boy rings :) Jay

If you have an iPad or your eyes are good enough to read it on your iPhone, save it to iBooks and you can take any document with you that you would like. There have been a few times that I've referred to the 705 manual when I was out in the field just by opening up the iPad or iPhone. I would bet that Android devices can also store .pdf files.

I know iPads aren't for everyone but being the geek that I am, I have every manual for literally everything that I own saved on my iPad. That was a by product of a snowy winter day when I was stuck in the house and couldn't detect. If that was the only thing that I used the iPad for it would have still been worth the money that I paid for it. Even if you can't find a .pdf manual for something you can always scan it and make your own pdf file.

The best thing is when you have a pdf that was created by a manufacturer or something created in eBook software you can search for any word in the document and quickly find something.
