Pro Coil vs SEF 10x12...

Okay I have read a ton of info on both coils and need to know from those using each which one actually gets the greater depth.
I live in Michigan so ground conditions are relatively mild.

It is my understanding that the pro coil gets the same,or about the same depth as the stock coil.
Where the pro coil shines,is that it seperates between the types of targets better.
SEF 10x12,gets greater depth,up to three inches i believe, and separates great also.
With the pro coil, you will get ghost signals occasionally,(A silver signal usually, and when you try to find it,it is no longer there).
Don't get me wrong,i currently use the pro coil and love it,but we all need different coils for different purposes.
The SEF is a little heavier, than the pro coil also.
Correct me if i am wrong on any of this fellas.

If you are talking about the standard vs the pro that came on the EXII you might be correct about the depth....but i really disagree that the SEF gets 3 inchs deeper. I find the depth for both coils about the same with the edge for those tiny items maybe going to the pro. Both coils really make a difference in the sound of those deep targets. Otherwise the pro coil and the SEF clearly gets more depth as well as seperation. The SEF is about $60 cheaper.... and i dont think you can come up with that much advantage for that price. The pro is lighter, but i dont notice the difference just because the standard coil for the SE was so off ballance. I never really notice ghost signals.... you must be talking about the high tones coming off deep iron or rusted cans. You can get used to that and for the most part tell the difference. Rarely ... i say rarely do i loose a target once dug. They will disappear if that item is disc out once the dirt is removed. I use the X1 and if it seems to have disappeared i just put the probe in pinpoint and bang there it is. You really cant go wrong with either coil over the standard coil.
