I just picked out a penny at 6 inches in the edge of my nail field

. That is the 1st place I go everyday when I go out the door with the detector. So far I like the Explorer and may be implying that I am having a lot difficulty which is not true, just looking for shortcuts in the learning curve. I do have a very difficult place to learn on my own property and I am still digging a lot of really rusted nails and iron that fools me, but not nearly as many as with the Fisher 3-D. I can actually almost feel the Fisher tugging on my arm trying to get to a nail,
. When I get a chance to go somewhere else after playing on my own place, it seems, easier.
