Pro Question

The B&G is the bigger shoe box style 5900 (Man. Ground Balance)with special graphics. The XL Pro is the later style 6000 with AutoTrack ® ground balancing system in the slim line control box. The B&G weighs about one pound heavier, the XL Pro takes the newer styled 8 AA battery system, the B&G has the 4 "C" cell battery system. Operation is similar for both detectors and are a medium to fast sweep detector, with a higher Signal Balance setting, the sweep speed can be somewhat more relaxed with these units.

I have both the XL Pro and the 5900 CB...the 5900 is easier to Ground Balance with it's double stacked Ground Balance control when running with a higher Signal Balance setting. The Pro is easier on your arms as it is lighter. but the Auto Track® system it has is a little trickier to get just so.
