Nancy and I got away for 6 days camping and hunting, went back to the same place before when I posted. Had to hit the sodless ball field again resulting in more silver and wheats. They were putting in a new sprinkler system and I'm sure it will be seeded soon, so that is the last of that silver/wheaty mine, wow what fun and easy digging in the sand too. I hunted the sandy banks of the River thinking this place was surly hunted out.......... WRONG......... 10 silver dimes, 1 IH and a solid silver pocket watch body and front later, we had to head home. I just weighed the pocket watch shell and it is 1.94 ozt with a melt value of $74.46. Most of us old timers know about the 3 Merry Widows container............
and the ring is a nice "LOVE" junk ring.
