Proformance coils?

Hi,
can anyone please explain what a "Proformance" coil is?
Are they Mono, DD or just a brand of coil?
Are they better or as good as the STD coils on my AT Gold & AT Pro?

Garrett coils.

That was the name Garrett came up with when they first introduced the solid resin coils as opposed to the hollow coils they used to use. The first one was a 7 x 10 for the GTAx series. Now they have them for all of their detectors.

Pro formance coils are designed to run with the Garrett AT Pro and the Garrett AT Gold. They come in both DD and concentric. Holler if I can help more!

Thanks for the info guys, I really appreciate it.

Unfortunately I had the 6 x 9 inch Mono on my AT Gold yesterday in very highly mineralised soil after a couple of inches of rain. This made life very exciting so after an hour, I switched over to the Infinium. Life was just as exciting with it running the 8 inch Mono, so I gave the game away until I can get a DD for the Infinium & remember to take the STD DD coil that comes with the AT Gold on my next trip.
