HI AS ANYBODY BUILT A PROSCAN IF SO WHAT PERFORMANCE CAN BE EXPECTED ALSO DOES ANY BODY KNOW ALTENATIVE PARTS THE LIST ISNT VERY INFORMATIVE
 
I have built the proscan but I modificated the IC lm709 for the lm318 and the transitor for the Mosfet irf 740. If you need I have the PCB modificated.
 
By any chance do you know that Proscan is more sensitive than Goldpic by Trevor in So. Africa? On Goldpic site the numbers for depth on gold and coinage are there. Any comparisons with Proscan? Rick S
 
Is the same detections. There is an error in the 7810 circuit and in the transistor near the ne555 audio output.

Ian. I was just wanting to know if anyone has built the Proscan PI and are the results simular to Goldpics results. Goldpic data can be found at Trevors site (Goldpic 3). Iam hoping for better results. Rick S
