prospecting mode......hmmm

Playing around with my new 705 and I have discovered it really sensitive while relic hunting when in prospect mode. Am I crazy to like hunting in this mode and then switching to all metal for target I'd. I dig all targets anyway but found prospect mode to go deeper than all metal.

Not crazy at all. Flexibility is the hallmark of the Xterra, the 705 being the most flexible in the line.
I always say, if what you're doing isn't working, change something. Get creative!
Seems as though you've done just that. If it works, how would that make you crazy?

Just ordered a 5x10hf elliptical. I hope it works well in prospect mode like the stock coil but better target separation. Prospect mode is really sensitive

It always depends on several things. I have one and I think you will be very happy with it. Just remember it is splashproof, it may be splashed, washed, used in drizzling rain, or moved through wet grass. Must not be submersed under water.
