Prospector Package??

Why isn't there a package deal that includes all three coils available for the ATX along with the hardcase? I would want all three coils to start with if I order the detector. I would not pay 450 for that 8" coil but as a prospector would need it for sure.

I really doubt the 8" coils will cost that much.

No, they really do cost that much...See here: http://www.garrett.com/hobbysite/hbby_atx_searchcoils.aspx

John I think I will contact them. See what they say.

I know they show that price, just like they did for the infinium when it first came out. The price will drop.

I heard, from a reliable source, that the large Deep Seeker coil will be less that $300. I would think the 8" mono coil would be a little les than the big coil.

Actually I think I have answered my own question as to the coils after reading on different forums, the 12x10 is a different design coil in dd that increases sensitivity to small nuggets more so than a 8" mono, however still we need small coils for tight places. A 12x10 coil will only fit in so tight a spot,
