i want to protect the coil and i wonder if there exists a protection for a deepstar 3.

I'm always looking for someone who could tell me is adjustement to detect on wet sand

Hi Sandor

Not to certain what you mean by coil protect. Do you mean as in a cover to protect the bottom of the coil ???? I doubt that you will need a coil cover with that coil. The epoxy filling is very hard, and abrasion resistant.

If you decide that you still feel the need to protect the bottom get yourself a piece of Plexiglas or Lexan, and cut a circular disk the size of the coil. Affix this disk to the bottom of the coil with glue.

What adjustments do you need for the wet sand ? It should be the same adjustments you would use elsewhere. If your talking about some unstableness, it's going to take a combination of adjustments between the Frequency, SAT, Range, and Delay controls. These adjustments are very individual to your hunting area, with you hunting. With time, usage of this unit it will become second nature to you, and you will find it easy to adjust at will.

Hope this helps you out. Have a nice day. :)

Mr. Bill
