I just have to tell this. This happened to me yesterday, I beleive it was God and one of His angels that protected me and my son. although some would call it luck.
Yesterday my town had thier annual chili cook off / car show. It goes on right down the street from my house. so I decided to take chris and walk to it. well I get to the first crossing and there are cars parked everywhere. There was one car that was waiting for me to cross. There was no reason why i shouldnt cross. I found myself standing there wondering why i wasnt crossing the street.. the driver looked puzzled and motioned again for me to cross, but once again i just stood there with this feeling that i shouldnt..a moment later someone in a big suv came speeding by and ran the stop sign right in front me. had i have continued to cross the street i surely would have been hit. the suv driver didnt see me standing there for his view was blocked by all the parked cars. On my way back home i got to the same crossing and noticed the stop sign was missing, no wonder he didnt stop.

So I just wanted to share with you all that God is AWESOME and he does protect us. Even in the simplest of ways.

Recently we were shopping and I forgot our grocery bags in the car, something (the Lord) MADE me go out to get them. As I walked out of the store I saw a man in a wheel chair trying to get through a to tight a space between the edge of the curb and a store pillar. The store was remodeling and had blocked the usual way he went to get into the store. Just as I got to him he went off the edge of the curb and I caught him in his wheel chair. I then recognized him as having came to our church one time. Praise the Lord I was able to do His will that day.

On the way home after working third shift I came upon a truck waiting at the stop light. And the closer I got to the truck, I felt that there was an angel present. And when the light turned, the man in the truck went across the intersection. I had my left turn signal on and in my head I heard a voice scream at me to stop. I hit my brakes as hard as I could. A car ran through the intersection right where I would have been. Immediately I felt that the pressence of the angel left after my life had been saved. Thanks Jesus for watching over me --- Graw

God is amazing and that is for sure and He protects His own when we obey His voice and pray for His guidance! I know there are guardian angels all around us and I saw one of mine one night praying for me when I was in such bad shape concerning the divorce! There are many times He protected me and my family and too many to tell. Praise the Lord, dobbie and all the others, whom were protected in a time of need and listened to the voice of God....His Holy Spirit within us! God is certainly awesome and amazing and I wish with all my heart that those who don't know Jesus, personally, out there would accept Him as their Savior and be His own, also, and see what He will do for them!

Amazing how sometimes we feel His presence so strongly, and yet the simple fact is that He is by our side all day and all night, every day without fail. Makes you wonder how much we miss and take for granted. Thanks for all the examples of an angel on your shoulder.

one Friday after working a twelve hour shift,i was driving to a play i perform in.I fell asleep and drifted off of the highway.at that time my cellphone rang and woke me up.i made a radical turn to the left and wiped out a row of rural mail boxes.after things calmed down i looked at my caller id,and since i didnt recognize the number i returned the call.i got a women on the line and she told me she had dialed the wrong number.if it hadnt been for this call i would have ended up in the brazos river.

Hi camel so glad you are still with us and God sure is amazing! I've heard of others being saved from death by their ringing phones or watching TV and just happen to switch to a channel that was telling about Jesus and what He will do in their lives! Coincidence??? I don't think so....our Lord works in mysterious ways! Praise His Holy name, Jesus! Sorry you hit the mail boxes though but better than ending up in the river, as long as you were okay afterwards!

No, I haven't been prospecting but sure would be fun if I could do it but my health just wouldn't allow me to do that! I watch the programs on TV and yearn to go to all those places and, hopefully, find the different kinds of gems, silver and gold! Did rock hunt out west while we were on vacation one year and have always collected the unsual ones when I found any! That is why I have so much STUFF.....I'm a collector!

Certainly your Guardian Angel was on the job.

I don't believe in luck...snd luck sure is no lady as so many claim to have 'bad luck'. I prefer to believe God is on the throne and in control. He sends forth his angels to minister to us.
Heb 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Their relation to the believer is that of "ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation", and this ministry has reference largely to the physical safety and well-being of believers.
