PTL, went into the ER Sat. morning and....

I had internal bleeding. They admitted me and did tests. I just got out today. Praise the LORD they didn't find anything serious, like cancer for instance. I'm on orders not to take aspirin or ibuprofen, Motrin or anything like it. You know the caution that goes with aspirin and Motrin-may cause bleeding, well after years of using them because they work, now I can only take the extra strength PLACEBO, fake pill, Tylenol. That stuff is practically worthless. Well the LORD spared me and I can live with the results.
I want to go detecting.
May God bless you all, y'all,
Paul

Glad he spared you to hang with us for a while longer Paul!
I pray that you are feeling much better!

ulcers? pills eating a hole in your stomach?

PTL....Paul, so glad the dr found out what is wrong and hope you will get much better and can go :detecting: Hope you find something terrific!

God Bless!

Paul I am glad to hear your ok. But as uncomfortable as it sounds - maybe you should do the colonoscopy (my spelling is awful) thing. It may also have been a polyp. Always best to make sure of everything. Tylenol also has the same effect on me.....which is NOTHING. Stay away from pain pills no matter what. It's best to tough it out.
My X-wife got into that thing over 15 years ago with one every now and then (to help her with menstrual cramping pains) and got hooked on the things. Still is from what I hear. To the tune of 100 pills a month now (I still get the prescription insurance statements for some reason). Sad.

I take it that I now have a reaction to any NSAID medicine-aspirin, ibuprofin, Motrin.. I could bleed to death from taking them. I have an appointment with the doctor to get the final run down as they took a blood sample the day I was released and the other ones are not back yet from the lab Those medicines have now went over to the dark side young Skywalker.
May God bless you and yours.
Paul(NWO)
