Pulltabs & Satan

Some connection huh :)
It seems that whenever I dig a neat find the next signal turns out to be a pull tab. And I'm, of course, expecting another neat find.

Well, there is a similarity there with everyday life. Whenever we have a neat thing in our life happen, that's when Satan sets up to stick us with something we don't want - or moreso, don't expect.

There is no rest from the spiritual battle. Always keep your guard up, because the moment you think, It won't hit me here, that is where it will hit you. The enemy is just waiting. He is looking for an opportunity. So keep your armor on.

got a great deal today after taking Casey to school I decided to do a Neighborhood Watch patrol of our area up here (I'm the area Captain). Figured I'd see what the kids were up to last night.

It was still dark this morning and I noticed one of the neighbor's a street over had put a snowblower and a lawnmower out to the curb for trash pick up tomorrow. I'm guess the guy really didn't expect the trash man to pick these up and put them into the basket on the front of his truck...way too heavy.

So I bopped back home got out the trailer, went over and picked up the snow blower and the lawnmower.
Here's a pic of what the snow blower looks like (from the manual I already found on line):

Put some gas in it and it rolls over ok but didn't start..could smell gas so know it is getting gas and no spark...an easy fix I am sure. The lawnmower is a self-driven rear bagger and it starts then suddenly stops...another easy fix...

So there is the great news (oh yeah there is even a Yahoo group just for the snowblower - strange eh?). Now the bad news...hurt my back getting the snow blower in the trailer.

Good doesn't seem to come without some bad coming along to take away the joy and excitement.

so many people dont want to mess around fixing iup things. I'll bet you can get thaem going with a little work.
Since my heart op 3 years ago I lift nothing over 10 lbs !! Steve
