Pulse rates

Does anyone know the pulse rate of the Surfmaster PI? Is it different with the Pro? Is the Pro anything more than implementing Bill Crabtree's mods?
Also would like to know the pulse rates of the Fisher and Garrett PIs.
BTW, someone asked a while back why Tesoro went from 900pps on the Piranha to 600pps on the SandShark. It was strictly because they now use a PIC microcontroller to generate the audio and they wanted to use a single 600Hz osc for everything. I guess the Piranha had a 900Hz osc for the TX and a 600Hz osc for the audio.

Hi Carl,
As far as I know, the Surfmaster was about 700 pps. Tomorrow, I can post the Fisher Impulse and the Garrett XL500 rates as I have these in my files at the office.
Eric.

Surfmaster PI has 614 pps as their ad in the past quoted.

If you are looking a sensativity, it is not Pulse Rate, but Pulse Delay that is important.

Trying to finish up an article, wanted some hard numbers.
Also, thanks Bill C. for the offline reply.
