I had permission to hunt a lot where a house that was built in 1906 was being torn down, didn't find but a few wheat's prior to the house being torn down then it snowed. Well they started digging the basement the other day & as they placed the dirt around in piles I hit them again a few wheat's. Well they had to fill the hole in 1 foot at a time & compact it so as they did this I hit it again as they placed each layer down. I was determined to find silver on this lot & the first was a no date buff, then a 1936 washington tax token, then bang 1951 quarter, next 1920 wheat & very nice 1934 merc.
It does not seem like much for several hours of hunting but with 8" of snow on the ground & everything frozen I was glad just to have the oppertunity to hunt.

Joking aside, that's fantastic Bula. Great detecting in the snow and that's great amount of old coins and I always love seeing a tax token rescued. Very cool! Thanks for posting and keep warm. HH, Nancy
