Quarters and half spill at the fairgrounds

[/img] Great day at the fairgrounds, finally got a great silver spill 1942 Washington quarter 1955 Canada quarter and a1962 big ben. The coins came in at a booming 12.46 4 inches deep wow.I was hunting by the horse corral to finish off the area I had started, then I got on the midway second one this year. Dug 4 nickles in a row 1916 1927 buff and a no date , plus a v nickel 1906 all at 4 inches deep in a 4 foot circle . Only 2 wheat's today, a 1917s merc , worn 1909 barber and 2 Roosevelt's. Found 2 silver rings some costume jewelry. What is the gold item I found says 14k on it , the y shape piece fell off it was attached to the back any clues.

Holy frehole batman!!! What a day. Wish I had a fair grounds like that. I think the 14k thing is a cuff link..

I called my sister and mother-in-law to see if they come up with a contact for a 156 year old fairground back home (2 hour from me). Hopefully I'll get a positive answer back and my brother-in-law and I can start hunting it soon.

Great finds, at a great location. You obviously understand what your detector is telling you. I have a fair grounds that I detect, but so far only clad, I have lots to learn yet. Thanks for the post.
