Quattro interference

Does anyone know if the Quattro can cancel out another Quattro or other detector's interference?
Can the Noise Cancel function achieve this and is it done automatically?
Tony.

The noise cancel does work around power lines, I can attest to that. As for interference from another machine, I haven't had an opportunity to test that. It's not automatic though, you have a "Noise Canel" touchpad button that you press and it goes through a 30 second routine where it does it and returns to hunt mode.

I have worked with other Explorer IIs, and sometimes with noise cancel you can work within few feet of each other, then few times, even with noise cancel, could not get within 15 feet of another Explorer?

Two detectorists.
Detectorist 1 - Press cancel and wait
Detectorist 2 - Pick your detector up and point the coil at Detectorist 1, and press Noise Cancel.
If both of you do not have a clear threshold tone. Then Detectorist 1 should pick his coil up and aim it at Detectorist 2 and press Noise Cancel.
If interference still continues.
Detectorist 2 should pick coil up and strike Detectorist 1 firmly on top of head, rendering said Detectorist 1 unconscious. Once Detectorist 1 is unconscious, turn off his detector and proceed to detect normally !

I suppose it would depend on what particualr settings and sensitivity levels the two were running. Could make a difference.
