Just picked up a Quattro on trade and I have a question on NOISE CANCEL. I have a Xterra70, and it shows to noise cancel you hold the coil off the ground to perform the function, but on the QUATTRO it says to keep the coil on the ground. My question is, are these NOISE CANCEL functions just named the same but perform different functions on the different Minelab detectors, or because of FBS verses VLF they do the same task but by different methods?
 
I hold my safari about an inch above the ground when I noise cancel.. Always seems to work perfect when done that way..
