Quesion about F-75's

Hi- I just bought a used F-75. This will be the first Fisher I have used. I have always used White's and currently use an MXT for my CW relic hunting here in Virginia.

What is the difference between the F-75 & F-75SE?

I don't know what I have. I know it is not the LTD because it isn't camo.

Don't think there is an "SE" model. Explorer has an "SE", but don't think Fisher has such a model. The LTD is the next generation of the original F 75. I went to the F 75 over two years ago, after a couple of years relic hunting with an MXT. I think once you get used to the F 75 you will like it.

keep on diggin'

ok, because I saw one advertised on here and on the box it said "special edition". Wasn't sure since I am new to Fisher. Thanks for the info.

I think you have seen so many posts asking about the F75 and The Minelab Se as far as depth, and making finds,,you just naturally thought the Se was a F75 Se Model. Many people compare the depth of the two machines in posts and ask questions about both.

Actually, the boxes say 75 year special edition on them. I just saw a couple on here. Maybe what it means is that Fisher was celebrating their 75 year anniv. with the release of the F-75. Regardless, I bought one, now I have to learn how to use it!
