Question about 5" coil

Mike T

Member
I bought on Ebay a Teknetics 5" coil that the seller is pretty sure is for T2. Do the T2 and Greek series have the same plug? how can I be sure its not a Greek series coil?

I know they are not compatable, thats why I'm asking the question. I can buy a 5" Teknetics coil with no markings on it, I am asking if the plugs are the same or not so I can tell the difference.

Nothing works like trying it out. If the coil fits and works, that is all that matters. There is no risk according to Dave Johnson as per his pinned post on top this forum re G2 etc. Check for air test range and wire wiggle and a used coil - eBay more so than a forum find. Good luck & HH!

plugs are the same as far as i know/ but as previously stated t2 coils say t2

I'd have to guess this coil won't work on a T2 regardless what the seller says. Going by what's been posted, no markings= not T2.
