Question about Eurotek Pro

Does it have selective notching like say ace 250 were you can select to block?Or more like my MXT which is dial up you lose everything behind as you move up notch. Can you just pick nickle dimes and quarters and block out everything else? Thanks for reply.

No notch at all. That is my simple answer, I am sure that someone will provide a longer one ;)

It was not designed as a coinshooting machine with the ability to notch in or out targets but for picking out nonferrous items in heavy iron areas or trashy areas. Unlike the ace 250 you have a vid number so if there is some pesky items making you frustrated at a certain site, just take note of the number and do not dig those Like the previous poster says it is linear which the higher you turn up the disc it cancels out everthing below the disc setting.

Fred-----You got some good answers here.---I'd just ad---Although the Eurotek Pro has linear disc & say you go to the highest disc setting offered on it (which is 79).---Then targets that come in between 70 and 79 come in on VCO tones---targets 80 on up come in on high tones.-----Even if you set the disc on 79, the targets between 70-79 are still going to sound off (they won't be silenced), they just come in on VCO tones.---Everything below 70 is silenced (eliminated) when set this way.------Having said all that, this is really a neat machine to hunt in iron infested sites with disc 00 & volume 11 settings, it pulls the non-ferrous right up out of the ferrous very well.-----In any case, "high disc = masking risk" :)--------Del

One thing that I would like to add is that as mentioned the Eurotek was not designed to be a coin machine, but I have to tell you all that it does a very good job finding them in my ground here in northern New York.
