Question about hip/chest mounting a CZ-6a

cadman_us

Member
I just bought a CZ-6a on Ebay, (haven't got it yet) I want to hip mount or chest mount it and use a straight shaft for detecting. How does it mount? Does it have a belt slot or will I have to bag it? I have a CZ-7a that takes a seperate clip on piece to belt mount it.

Thanks,

Joe

I've got my 3D hip mounted in an ammo pouch, has a nice flap to keep dirt and sand out. I just cut a hole with a hot knife for the cable, mounted it on a 2" belt.

My ID Edge, CZ5 & CZ6 all have the same nice slide in mount and all fit the Fisher snap on chest mount I bought for about $20.

I have a similar set-up with the box in a tool belt pouch. Slit in the bottom for the cord. Belt has other pockets for junk & finds. Makes a big difference not having to swing so much weight.

I hip mounted my CZ-6a for years just slip your bent through the belt slot and buckle up and enjoy your CZ

I ended up getting the Fisher chest harness, really do like it.

Thanks for all the help.
