Is it true that they work? There are others that I recently read on a magazine that are called molecular frequency or something like that. They swear on those ads that you can find emeralds, diamonds, gold and silver up to half a mile away. They even detect a single coin 3 feet down. If someone has one or know something about them, would you please illustrate me?
????????????????????? WOW
If thats true then I bet they are a BEAR
to swing!!!!!!
Is it one of those that look kinda like a
pistol? or the drag behing your truck kind??
Great question Im looking forward to seeing
what the folks here think
That's called mining the miners. I don't believe it for a second. If it were true metal detector companies would be out of buisness or selling them also! Because thats what we all would be using. Just my 2 cents worth.
these so called locators are a scam. i was reading a thread on them recently and a big well known florida detector distributor is having them manufactured and selling them for large sums of cash. supposedly when one of the units was opened up and examined it was found to contain rejected circuit boards from some company that produced them. also there were wires in the box that went to nothing, just wrapped around inside of the control box but wasn't connected to anything. production costs were very cheap and then were sold for thousands of dollars with a high restock fee if the unit was returned. you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out they would make a few hundred dollars on every unit they sold, knowing it would be returned for a refund minus the large restocking fee. i have purchased several detectors from this company in the past but after reading this i won't be giving them any more of my money.
They are basically just dowsing rods with wires and hype! You can make better with a coat hanger, to put it mildly. Save your money and buy a claim, or a bunch of really nice metal detectors, or even beer and you will be farther ahead!
The only ones finding any loot are the sellers of those fake contraptions. Yes......they have a scientific sounding lingo with their sales pitches, when in actual fact the wording makes no sense to an engineer in physics or electronics. The technical jargon sounds good, and that's because you don't understand it, and frankly no one does. The people selling these are quite simply con artists.
If you just enjoy throwing your money away just put it in a pile and set fire to it. It wouldn't be any bigger waste than spending it on one of these phony devices.
True, most of these long range locator stuff is a bunch of nonsense. However, would the highly respectable company OKM make something that doesn't work?
Check out link and video, if you please. Quite interesting.
Of course they would. If they were a respectable company, they wouldn't be flogging that type of equipment. I don't for one second believe that that machine picked up that ring. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, the laser probably picked up the shovel. You can buy a unit for 1/10th the cost that will give you accurate distance readings. Add a little audio, a screen, some buzz words and you have a unit that will sell to a few.
If it sounds too good....(*you know the rest of it)
If your interested in long-range locators, contact me. I have a bridge in Brooklyn that I'm trying to sell, and some ocean-front property in Montana that's for sale. A flying saucer landed on the highway near my house and I still have the weapons they had, which were ineffective against my paint ball guns, and I'll sell those also for the right price. My sister has a machine which tests gullibility and it's only $3,000, you can make a FORTUNE off that. I know where the fountain of youth is located, the actual fountain itself which resembles an old well, and I'll guide you to it for a small-ish fee of maybe around, let's say, uhhmm ...... $1,000,000.
All sales final and cash only.
Believe it or not, I was working as a maintenance man at an apartment complex. The main sewer on a building had clogged and FIVE buildings flooded with the gunky stuff. We had a plumber out and they could not find the cleanout so they went to the office to get the construction plans and only knew that it was out in front of this certain building. Jokingly, I reached on the ground, seeing a fork-shaped stick and declared that I would find the cleanout. Much to my surprise, after walking a few yards the stick shot to the ground, twisting the bark off the stick and tearing my skin. The other maintenance guy laughed and said, "you don't expect me to believe that!" He took his sharpshooter and stuck it in the ground and "clank" there she was at about 6" in the ground! So you can't really say they're not worth a S- - - ! cause I truly proved they could find it! By the way, I'm not making this up. It really happened.
Dowsing does work for some small number of people. No I have never tried. Don't know if you could find treasure with it. If you want to know if it works then try it yourself. The only people I know who have had luck with it was for locating a water source, Even then they had to have it done for them. The up side is the wells were right where the were supposed to be. Others who did not drill "right here" ended up with sub-standard wells. Would they have had good wells if they drilled right where the dowser said? Who knows.
Bottom line; don't waste your money on a LRL, just go get a couple of wire coat hangers or a forked stick.
hey i have some hurricane free property for sale here in fla..first one to call gets it really cheap.... get it now while its still hot on the market...
There were some adds in the Aussie detecting mag a while back advertising these devices. When a number of us in the local club got curious about them, what stood out a mile was the complete lack of information that is available about them. One of the guys even contacted the company concerned (German from memory). Even then he wasn't getting specific information. That says all we needed to know. While there may well be devises out there used by mining companies to locate ore deposits, I lack the information to know if these devises are used successfully for this purpose, however, the lack of info is an absolute RED FLAG, especially that it taps into our greed tendencies!
Mick Evans.
P.S. Kelleyco sell these devises. Perhaps if you contacted JW there, he may be able to give you a strait answer about them.
I can't understand why I am able to locate pipes with these things so easily and yet have trouble with finding valuables. For one thing, I would have to wait while no one was watching-uneasy feeling- and another if it really does work, even remotely, there would be no reason to buy ANY device in the first place. Am going to try to find a remote place or something and give some results-I figure if I'm able to find pipes and there is any truth to it I should be able to find other things. If it wasn't for Karl Von Mueller's attestation that he saw it work I wouldn't even give it a second thought. I really respected that man- a great treasure hunter.
