question about sending stories to garrett

when you send in stories in to Garrett.do they let you know if they received it .?
i sent in a story in April and have not heard.does anyone know how this works?

I sent in my franklin half-dollar find story last year and eventually I received a letter thanking me for entering .. a nice way of saying that I did'nt win...lol.

Yeah, it took about two months before I got a response. They did send me a little garrett book on places to metal detect. The down side is that it is the same book that I have received with the last 3 garrett detectors that I purchased!

They don't always let you know if you send in a story by Email. You can request that they respond that they recieved it. They have at times sent me a letter of thanks with a book in the mail.
