Question about the profile

im looking at the manual right now and under the section "profile" it gives you the option to use the horseshoe which displays ferrous and non-ferrous targets and also used as a depths indicator. but what does the other option do? It looks like an ant hill which is described to be the representative curve for the detector's active settings
relating to Sensitivity. just curious if anybody knows. thanks.

I seldom use it. I believe it is a sensitivity indicator. The narrow wave form-fast. Wider waveform-slow. I'm not sure why I would need a visual indicator of the sensitivity. If anyone out there has a practical use for it while searching I would also be interested.

Height of the wave form indicates sensitivity level, width of the form indicates reactivity level. I switch reactivity levels from time to time at my sites, so I use it to remind me which level I'm in.
