Question Everyone ----- volume on ace 250

Hey do you think this would work ? mount a small radio shack speaker box with a volume control with a head phone jack you could set the volume.

or do you just want to be able to adjust the headphone volume? I have some lightweight R.S. headphones (they look like walkman style headphones) that have a volume slider switch on it. It will adjust the volume of my detector from whisper quiet to ear-splitting, within a single slide.

No just through the speaker . it should work just like the head phones but only a mounted volume control speaker Later Graw

I have a headphone I bought at Kmart (cheap) that has a sliding volume control on it that works fine. I did need to buy an adapter to conver the 1/8th inch plug to the 1/4 inch jack needed to plug it into the detector.

NO---------- I want to mount a speaker on the ace and that speaker will have a volume control on it and that speaker will have a jack wired into it so it will plug into the head phone system on the ace . there fore giving us ability to adjust the sound.. Later Graw
