Has anyone read the book ( Crazy Love ) by Francis Chan?
I have heard nothing but good about it. Our church will be studying it for 12 weeks starting in mid Sept.
 
The folks that have read it told me it has changed their lives. Did you know you can watch Chan's sermons on-line?
 
Never heard of the book and I don't read very much any more because of my eyes not seeing too well any more! Must be good though from the posts! May God Bless! Amen! :angel: Ma Betty

Thanks Mike, I think I watched him once on TV, when looking for something to watch, but cannot remember for sure! I like many of the TV Preachers, but some shouldn't even be on TV or be preachers at all! As always there are Tares planted among the Wheat and used by satan! Hey Mike, I found the printed version of the book @ Family Christian Bookstores. I also found and purchased the E-Book Version @ Amazon.com. Thanks for the heads up.
 
I watched his "Balance Beam" clip on youtube earlier and I liked his style. Reminds me of our pastor! I would also recommend Gary Chapman's books. He is the author of the popular Five Love Languages. I have also read his book "The family you've always wanted", and I think it is his best.

We watched the balance beam video two weeks ago in church, and I am currently reading the 5 Love Languages (Men's Edition)
I am hoping to use it for a men's Bible study this fall.
 
Loren would say that these coincidences are a "GOD thing". Lol. I think you will really enjoy the Five Love Languages. We had a small group study in our home and we spent several weeks studying this book. Everyone really enjoyed it. All marriages and relationships can benefit from this book-I learned sooo much! Even people who don't like to read can make it thru the book because I think it is around 150 pages.
